SV	Na deze geschiedenissen en derzelver bevestiging, kwam Sanherib, de koning van Assyrie, en toog in Juda, en legerde zich tegen de vaste steden, en dacht ze tot zich af te scheuren.
WLC	אַחֲרֵ֨י הַדְּבָרִ֤ים וְהָאֱמֶת֙ הָאֵ֔לֶּה בָּ֖א סַנְחֵרִ֣יב מֶֽלֶךְ־אַשּׁ֑וּר וַיָּבֹ֣א בִֽיהוּדָ֗ה וַיִּ֙חַן֙ עַל־הֶעָרִ֣ים הַבְּצֻרֹ֔ות וַיֹּ֖אמֶר לְבִקְעָ֥ם אֵלָֽיו׃
Trans.	’^aḥărê hadəḇārîm wəhā’ĕmeṯ hā’ēlleh bā’ sanəḥērîḇ meleḵə-’aššûr wayyāḇō’ ḇîhûḏâ wayyiḥan ‘al-he‘ārîm habəṣurwōṯ wayyō’mer ləḇiqə‘ām ’ēlāyw:

AC	א אחרי הדברים והאמת האלה בא סנחריב מלך אשור ויבא ביהודה ויחן על הערים הבצרות ויאמר לבקעם אליו
ASV	After these things, and this faithfulness, Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fortified cities, and thought to win them for himself.
BE	Now after these things and this true-hearted work, Sennacherib, king of Assyria, came into Judah, and put his army in position before the walled towns of Judah, designing to make his way into them by force.
Darby	After these things and this faithfulness, Sennacherib king of Assyria came and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fortified cities, and thought to break into them.
